I'm very disappointed. I always start excited about Delaney novels; they should be right in my wheelhouse, with the correct era, topic, and genre I typically like.
It was just too abstract for my taste. It was avant-garde for the time and pointed to the future of sci-fi.
But this is why I keep reverting to moldy oldies; many call it pulp.
