Random quote: "Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." - Harlan Ellison (Paladin of the Lost Hour)

Hi Everyone,

I am posting this for a friend who is working on an academic paper.  I don't think they have to be in the SF genres. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Okay, YA readers--I'm seeking YA novels by Australian authors addressing social justice issues similar to The Hate U Give and All-American Boys.

Thanks,

Rhonda

Twelfth Planet Press probably publishes stuff in that direction. They have an anthology series for YA genre fiction that most definitely addresses those issues, but those are short stories.

The Aurealis Award also has a YA category. We don't list it on WWend but there might be something on that list. Wikipedia has a good overview. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurealis_Award_for_best_young_adult_no...
