Voyage

Interesting take on the history of the US as a space faring nation. The alternate history is kept very close to the real history. The characters (as in most of Stephen Baxter novels) aren't very well developed, but that is not really a big hindrance. And although the book is rather lenghty it is quite an fast read. And if like descriptions of the different engines used to make a rocket you certainly came to the right place, because Stephen certainly enjoys his science. The only minor point here is that there isn't much Mars exploration.
