This was the first Powers I've read -- and I loved it. A rare-book dealer receives a consignment box which contains items from the estate of a woman science-fiction author, and he is drawn into a time-travel mystery with her and other shady characters. I loved this. I'm sure that the novella length was just right for the scope of this story -- but wow, did I really want more after it was over.
