I've felt a bit burned out on the Rivers of London series, but this new location (Germany) and new main character (Tobias Winter) really reinvigorated my interest. I knew enough about wine to follow along with those details, the plot was intriguing, and watching Tobias alternate between hero worship and heartsick jealousy of The Famous Peter Grant was just hilarious.
