The Illustrated Man

'The Illustrated Man' is a collection of 18 short stories by legendary sci fi author Ray Bradbury. Space travel and exploration are common themes among the tales.

None of the stories in the collection are weak but I felt that some of them could have been fleshed out more and the themes expanded upon, for instance 'Marionettes, Inc' was an enjoyable read but I would like to have seen the characters and story developed more.

Having said that, some of the world building in other stories was excellent, my personal favourites were 'The Veldt', 'The Fox and the Forest' and 'Zero-Hour'
