This is the origin story for the religion of The Invincible Sun, which appears to a greater or lesser extent in the author's faux history fantasy stories, and it's a cogent commentary on the gullibility of humans, and the way that religions tend to become the inspiration and justification for cruelties, atrocities, and wars.
