Machinehood

I was really excited about this book because I've enjoyed the author's other works, and the synopsis sounded really interesting. Unfortunately, it focuses far too much on the social media ratings and reality-show aspects of an imagined future for my taste, rather than on the Artificial Intelligence, and the nanobot pills seem just a little too contrived and glib for believability. People who are big fans of social media and/or reality shows may enjoy this.
