Brotherhood

Though this was published May 2022, in conjunction with the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series, it does not address the same time frame as the series, so there is no overlap of plot or character. This novel is set immediately after Anakin is promoted from Padawan to Jedi Knight, and focuses on Obi-Wan and Anakin learning to navigate their new relationship as peers. Plot is secondary to characterization, in fact the plot is confusing, full of holes, and left essential unresolved. The two new secondary characters are engaging, though, and it was fun to see Obi-Wan and Anakin encounter Asajj Ventress for the first time!
