You can read all the other reviews for story content. This one is about the characters. They are all quick-witted, sarcastic, snarky and subtly insubordinate. All of them.
It does make for funny reading, but it doesn't make for clearly defined and distinct characters. Someone, anyone, should be slow and reserved, even with a superbrain installed. Apparently, this superbrain has an inescapable effect on pesonality that makes everyone verbal sparring partners.
If you find this intriguing, you'll love it. If you're looking for characters with truly distinct ways of being in the world, this is not it.
