I am teetering between a 3 and 4 star read, rounding up because why not, I still enjoyed myself.

This was spooky and a great start to my October reading. I did have to stop reading this before bed because I was worried it would trigger sleep paralysis. That for real gives me the heebie jeebies and is a massive proponent of the macabre in this novella.

I had fun. Alex Easton and Co. immediately sprung back to life and the story wraps up neatly. It does have an element of Witcher-side-quest, Scooby gang, Supernatural Season 1 episode of a monster tied up neatly in a bow, which is entertaining and I am 100% here for but loses the depth of the first novella.
