I enjoyed this. BUT the romantic relationship felt off. It could have been the narration but Roos felt way younger at the beginning so I was surprised when it all of a sudden declared her of-age so they could flirt.
The first half was unsettling, both in Roos' circumstances and with the ghostly companion, but once they moved to the manor and the story's focus shifted to Agnes and her estate drama, my interest waned.
It was told in part-interview and I'm glad I listened to the audiobook because it made that portion flow well. Really liked the narrator for this one (Narrated by Jess Nesling) and highly recommend the audiobook!
