In The Night Room

This is the ninth Peter Straub novel that I have read. Like most of his books this is multi-layered and challenging to read. It features the character Tim Underhill who has appeared in two other novels I have read. This books also features many of the characters and continues the storyline from Lost Boy Lost Girl. Tim was also a major character in Koko.

Like most Starub books this a subtle horror story with more going on than you realise. Definitely a book that you could re-read and get something else from. I wil probably read it again in the future back to back with the other books featuring the same characters/story.
