Emphyrio

I loved this book. Ok, it's not great - it's a bit plodding and the obsession of the main character with the legend of Emphyrio gets a bit jaded over the course of the book but there's something in it that just hooked me in. It's the first Jack Vance I've read and I'll certainly root out some more of his work based on my reading of this book. One of my best picks from the Masterworks series, I think.
