Before you read this I am obliged to say SPOILER ALERT!

This book is anything but hallow. It's a beefy book at 759 pages, and has too much stuff just stuffed into it. as said before I can't shake the feeling I have seen this story telling in halo 3. lets compare: bad guyss are winning, good guys win at last minute, ALOT of fan favorites are killed. we see the dark side and past of one of the biggest characters. See where I'm getting at. Look at the deaths of Fred and Segrant Johnson. Either way this book is amazing. Just a warning that there is a part SPOILER ALERT where you read about Dumbledor's past that is so mototonous that I just wanted to throw the book out it was so long. I would say that at least a quarter of this book is flashbacks and I don't know how many people would disagree with me. you learn about Dumbledor' past, Snapes, and it refers back to several previous events in the story. For all of you who have only watched the movie SPOILER ALERT! Cornilius Fudge is no longer the minister of magic (thank god!). The new minister is killed though (nerds cry), and voldemort brainwashes the new guy.
