The Deaths of Tao takes up the story a couple of years after the end of the previous book. As such it is not a direct sequel, and I was disappointed to lose what happened in between this book and Lives of Tao.
That said, this was another enjoyable book from Wesley Chu. Light, fun, easy to read. I am now eagerly awaiting book 3.
