The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow -- Washington Irving

This short novel is very well written. It wasn't that scary as I already knew what was going to happen from reading the children's version of this book many years ago. What stood out was the use of language, which was so refreshing after reading so many poorly written books and documents in the past year. The descriptions of the characters and the scenery are beautiful. I highly recommend this story and look forward to reading more works by Washington Irving.
