After struggling with the first chapter I really got into the narrative dynamic of the book. The concept of the main character, Billy Pilgrim, cut loose in time, experiencing his life in a fragmentary but connected way could have been really irritating but ended up feeling quite profound. Was it real or all just a delusion. In all honesty it doesn't matter, the comment on how to experience and appreciate life still holds a remarkable veracity.
