The story can also be found in the anthologies Mutants: Eleven Stories of Science Fiction (1974) edited by Robert Silverberg, Robert Silverberg's Worlds of Wonder (1987), and The Great SF Stories 23 (1961) (1991), edited by Isaac Asimov and Harry H. Greenberg. The story incorporated in the fixup novel Hothouse (1962).
