What is Gaslamp Fantasy?
Gaslamp Fantasy is historical fantasy fiction that:
is set during the Regency Era or the years of the reign of Queen Victoria (1811 - 1901)
is usually (but not exclusively) set in England or one of the British colonies
may be similar to Gothic literature (ie: Dracula, Frankenstein, Edgar Allan Poe)
has supernatural elements and some form of magic
sometimes focuses on class, manners, romance, etc. (in the style of Jane Austen)

| I read Charlie N Holmberg's Paper Magician series over the holidays and really enjoyed it; those books would certainly fit this challenge.

Location: The Wilds of Washington | A new book got added that will fit with this challenge: The Fifth Heart. Sherlock himself is in it. It's by Dan Simmons so it's a long read.
