Dave, is there any fast way to check how many Chinese authors we have in the Database? I can only think of one other and that one is in last name first because the publisher of the single book that was translated chose to respect the Chinese naming customs. I guess we should strife for consistency here.

All 3 of his books have it as Cixin Liu so I'm down with us keeping it that way. That's what folks are used to seeing it as even if it's more proper the other way round.

The author page had Cixin as the last name and Liu as the first, presumably thinking it was in Chinese order in the book. If you wanted it in Chinese order then the translator would have to be Liu Ken for consistency which makes little sense.
In pinyin (which is what Cixin Liu is written in) it is usual to use the Western name order rather than the Chinese.

I still think the record for Ken Liu (translator) should be deleted as this is the only translated book in the database that actually mentions the translator. Ken Liu is an Americanized name as far as I know.

Not sure why we had a second entry but it's gone now. I fixed Cixin Liu's name on the Hugo page.
