The Power of Six

Well this was as easy a read as the prior episode and actually I think in some ways a better book. There was more interest in diversifying the narrative into two points of view. Marina's situation was sufficiently different to create extra interest especially with Adelina, her cepan, in denial. The action was entertaining if excessive on occasion and there was a hint of the deus ex machina in the appearance of nine. Also with six's skills and powers being greater than four's and it looking likely that nine will be a quantum leap beyond both of them it is making our supposed protagonist look a little extraneous in his own story.
