While ostensibly a science fiction story, this is really just an elaborate construction of psychological interactions and breakdowns among 3 people who are stuck in isolation - and none of those people is terribly likeable or relatable.
Very little SF actually happens. Upon completion, I was so angry that I threw this book against the wall (sorry, library). But if you enjoy books exploring the disastrous unraveling of human psyches and aren't intent on getting a book with lots of science fiction, this may be your thing.
