This is a political mystery, not SFF; the only speculative element is that melting of the polar ice has progressed even farther than it has today. Nevertheless, I found it interesting enough to read the whole thing. Recommended if you're into political mysteries which closely reflect current global political and corporate machinations. If you're looking for science fiction, you'll probably be disappointed.
