This story is weapons porn and the play-by-play for a battle of humans with cyborgs against an enemy referred to as "squids" and "slugs". The author would benefit from a tutorial on the use of punctuation. Character development is minimal, but there is a bit of manly "no man left behind" heart-tugging. It's an adequate but unremarkable story.
