I read this really short sci-fi novella for the Book Riot's 2020 Read Harder Challenge. I liked the idea, but the story was so short that it ended up being half-baked and somewhat confusing. I did enjoy the narrative style, however. And I thought that the idea of wabi-sabi was fascinating! (The art of finding beauty in imperfection.)
I have mixed feelings about this overall. I would reccomend it to any wierd, mystical sci-fi lover, but maybe not to someone who leans more towards heroic, sword and sorcery fantasy.
