A fantastic read, especially if you like space opera with a grand scope. As much as I like A Fire Upon the Deep, this was even better. It is not the easiest story to read, but it's much like a Tom Clancy novel in that all the multiple side plots intertwine with a bang to bring it to an effective and very satisfying conclusion. Easily five stars.
