Read this for a Goodreads Hugo/Nebula monthly book. This book is more of a personal & interpersonal study, taking place in a futuristic setting. It's more about the characters than the setting, so it is not all that sci-fi, really. However, it is engaging & interesting and flows by very smoothly. I liked it, but had it been longer, it might have lost some of its poignance. 4 stars.
