Wylding Hall

This novel was a 2016 Locus Fantasy best Novel nominee.

This little book does not know what it is. It has an almost gothic feel to it, but this gothic element is more hinted at than actually fully expressed. There is an element of ghost story, a mystery, and possibly some time travel. That is a a lot to squeeze into 170 pages, but somehow this works.
