We Shall Sing a Song into the Deep

I'm afraid that my appreciation of this post-apocalyptic story is greatly dampened by an implausible plot and my lack of patience for the use of religion as an excuse for oppression, misogyny, punishment, and murder. Nevertheless, people who were raised in, but are now estranged from, the Catholic faith may find this a cathartic experience.
