A story about a bright man with an even more amazingly bright daughter and her friend who use their psychological and psychic powers to travel in time. Dad becomes very worried that his daughter will get into trouble or even become exploited by the powerful.
A nice, quick story which focuses on childhood perspectives and behaviors, and how adults sometimes have to just cope with them as best as possible.
It's not clear why it is classed as a novelette instead of a short story.
