This is a well executed, suspenseful murder mystery taking place on a couple of asteroid space stations. There is plenty of exciting action and the plot moves right along. It starts off a little gory but if that kind of thing bothers you, don't put it down because that just helps set a spooky/creepy mood, and it's not prevalent throughout. The characters were a tad flat, but that didn't detract anything for me because it had me on the edge of my seat needing to find out what would happen next the entire time. The SF is mid-range on the hardness scale, lacking any cumbersome and overly detailed explanations about the tech, etc.. It has the feel of a who-done-it space opera. As the 2022 PKD award winner, I was expecting a few more unexpected twists, but overall I walked away very satisfied. Fun, fast read. 4/5
