Inversions

Not quite as good as Excession, but an excellent read nonetheless. There are very few authors I'd trust to pull off a parallel narrative like this effectively, but Banks is absolutely one of them. This is a fantastic read in a marvellous setting with excellent characters and plot, and it builds to a fantastic climax. It leaves a lot up to the reader's interpretation, in a way that I really appreciate and really adds something to this for me. Definitely one to check out.
