The Last House on Needless Street

I read a lot of horror, so I was pretty certain i could tell what was coming at the end. The strength of the writing kept me reading, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my predictions about the ending were wrong! It also seemd to me that the author treated her characters with respect, rather than simply as monsters or weirdos. This book was really well-done.
