The Manitou

One of the worst books I have read this year. I trudged through it though it had some good parts. The premise of a medicine man growing out of a tumor on the back of a young girl was ok but the writing was not. Masterton seems to think that everyone is a believing soul and that a major hospital would just let any old charlatan march in and assist on a case. The plot and characters are weak, the scene and characters are extremely dated and the moral fabric to me is insulting.
