Tooth and Claw

When an author asks: What if Jane Austen wrote novels with dragons as the MCs. And the answer is: Fun times.

I enjoyed this. It's been a long time since I went through my Austen phase, and for some reason I was underestimating how much I would like that kind of thing these days. (Luckily, it was a very easy hole to fill on the TBR :) There were also times when I was simply sitting back and admiring the sheer cleverness of the marriage between this style and a dragon society story.

But neither of those things would have been enough without an interesting take on that dragon society, and that was by far the part that kept my attention. It was kinda awesome.

Would recommend if the concept appeals to you at all.
