Finishes the series, changes the venue, and leaves me with quite a few (spoilery) questions. The nanobots (aka Dust) are definitely important here, but they also leave the reader wanting more.

I liked the drone and radio work here, which really connects things together. The scientific method is perfect for helping them understand the situation also. Understanding the earlier drone failures may be explained by the ending which didn't quite connect for me - would love a new map before the epilogue.

Misguided religion really takes one in the shorts here. Child marriage, book burning, and trampled crops. Very little of this was in the previous books. The ending and the time frame are confusing, perhaps intentionally. Wondering how much of this will show up in the video version. Very glad I finished all the core books - I imagine it would be near impossible to do this without spoiling the storyline.

This book - 3.5 stars, better than the 2nd but not as good as the 1st. The series? Probably closer to 3 stars for me - too many unanswered questions. Chief among those (without spoilers) - why Wool? Shift and Dust make complete sense. Calling the series Silo makes sense, though it could be a minor spoiler for the first book. But Wool?!? Because the cleaning pads are made of it? Maybe video will help....
