Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

There are a lot of goats and boobs in this book about sheep and androids.

"I like her. I could watch her the rest of my life. She has breasts that smile."

I listened to the audiobook for this one and I must confess, I audibly scoffed when the narrator read out that line. Safe to say, Phil's a boob guy. Acknowledging that the misogyny is a product of its time, the women's boobs are either described in detail or they are described as hags, I actually found it mildly hilarious. This guy was so stressed about the dangers of androids and then found the time in 24 hours to kill six of them, fall in insta-love and cheat on his wife with one of them, describe everyone's tatas, and have an existential crisis while also actively shopping for a goat. My dude had a busy day.

It was peak cyberpunk and remarkably predictive, everyone was just chatting on video calls all day, while also taking the time to ruminate on environmental decline, the effects of war, and the question of what keeps us human.
