Culminating book when I was reading many modern tellings of ancient stories. Jane Yolen has yet to disappoint in any of her books. A difficult book because it deals with the holocaust and genocide, but ultimately affirming. The ancient stories seem to exist to tell us that evil, even the evil within can be beaten.
