I thought this was a great return to the Hollows series and its intriguing to see how the author is really attempting to tie up as many loose ends as possible while still keeping the adventure going. I will be sad when this series finally ends but I'm really happy with the way that it has progressed and a lot of the events of this book were well done and made me happy although they were just a tad bit expected.

I've really enjoyed the way that she has entertwined all of the species and given such original concepts to creatures that are so well known to fantasy that we expect there to be certain rules and its nice to know that those rules have been changed on numerous accounts and made into this world that is a great one to read about.

The Hollows isn't a great, deep book with a thousand characters and metaphors and allegories galore. Trying to portray some complex and philosophical point. Its a nice fast read that is so relaxing to pull up and jump into. I've enjoyed watching the characters develop more and more and while some have been somewhat mishandled and left behind, I believe that for the most part things are going great and I can't wait to enjoy the next book in the series.
