The Forever War

This is the third science fiction book I read. The others before this where both by Ursula Le guin. This was very different from either of those. Hugely enjoyable and humourous at times. The two main characters I really liked. Difficult to get my head around the time difference between earth and those in space but a lot of fun all the same trying to follow this.

The section set on earth was good, but for me the best parts were all the preparation for war and the time travel sections. Not a big fan of war but some creative aliens and weaponry were good. I can see why it is so popular and will definitely read some more Joe Haldemann in the future.
