Dragonquest

There is a good story buried in this book. However, there is so much talking and political maneuvering that it is difficult to see it sometimes. This was a problem with Dragonflight as well, but that book managed to strike a good balance between talk and action quicker than this sequel does. I felt like things really didn't pick up in Dragonquest until about halfway through. By the end, however, I was left wanting more and will still probably pick up the next novel in the series.
