Boons & The Camp

These two novellas are put together like an old Ace Double. Of the two, Boons is the more remarkable. Who would have thought that reading about characters who appear to be caught up in slaveholding, animal experimentation, and sex trafficking would be this enjoyable. It is all in Ohle's language. His characters sound like tough guys with advanced medical backgrounds, just doing what it takes to get by in whatever horrible future world they inhabit. The Camp is tame by comparison.
