As he delves into what originally looks like a murder to influence the choice for the Emperor's successor, he finds that much more is at stake.

This historical fiction, fantasy and mystery all rolled into one has plenty of action, angry gods, murdering star demons and magical rituals to keep the story moving quickly. It's definitely a page turner and highly recommended.
