Thus far I have read 8 of the 12 Heinlein juvenile novels. Time for the Stars was one of the best, second only to Have Spacesuit, Will Travel among the juvenile novels. Great characterization, pacing, and stronger than average scientific explanation in the plot for a Heinlein book. The idea of twins as telepathic communicators worked very well and really helped the plot of the novel as well. I liked how the instantaneous communication highlighted the space/time issues encountered when traveling at near light speed. A strong ending and some well made points about living your life for yourself elevated this novel above the others of this group.
