The Demon's Surrender

Oh, dear. By the middle of this book I could not remember the difference between witch's marks, demon's marks, and who controlled who. Promising characters from the two early books languished (though they were languishing on the witches' yacht, so maybe not so bad for them). And as for the resolution - wait, what? I'm sorry to see such a promising series collapse under the weight of its own mythology.
