Ancillary Sword

Ancillary Sword is as similar to it's predecessor, Ancillary Justice, as it is different. Both deal with the consequesnces of imperilaism, examine divided loyalties and the consequences of old actions. But where Ancillary Justice is essentially a road/revenge novel, Ancillary Sword is more of a political thriller/mystery. I continued to enjoy Ann Leckie's world-building style she started in Ancillary Justice. She presents a world completely alien from our own but awash in all-too-human wants, desires and deceptions. Looking forward to reading the final chapter in the trilogy, Ancillary Mercy.
