Another one in the "horror revisionism" vibe, now it's Nixon battling magicians instead of Lincoln battiling vampires. The good news is that it manages to put a positive spin on one of the worst episodes in American democracy - making Nixon into a martyr figure, while still preserving the undeniable asshole exterior.

Sadly, it is a relatively boring read, with lots of attention focused on the somewhat triivial inner fears of Nixon. While his confusion and his quest for the truth is a large part of the book, there's always a feeling that the big revelation where everything is explained is just a few pages off, yet it never materializes. In the end, the book just segues into an epilogue, with no real resolution.
