First Kill

I absolutely enjoyed reading this story. I think the set-up is very good; the first few paragraphs nicely establish the scene and some motives of the main character. There is quite a lot of information about the world in this story, but that is not at all troublesome. I was thrilled from the start and had high expectations of how it would further unfold.

For me, First Kill totally lived up to those expectations. The conflict in the main character is what drove the story forward and throughout the story the voice of the main character is very believable.
