I read this novel fourth in my re-reading of the Narnia series as an adult. Of the four books I have read thus far, I found this one the least enjoyable. The central plot of the Dawn Treader sailing for the edge of the world gets lost at times in a series of short disjointed adventures that happen to the children on various islands that they visit during the journey. The final chapter brings the novel to a satisfying close, but aside from the new character of Eustace the other children don't have much of a story arc. The mouse is probably the strongest character of the novel. I listened to the Harper Audio book version of this novel. It was well read and easily understandable as the other Harper audio editions in this series have been.
